The Disability Induction Program is an industry endorsed program, designed for all new and potential employees entering the disability sector, regardless of their job role. The program prepares people to work in the disability sector by introducing and encouraging a person-centred approach. Across 5 modules, learners will gain a comprehensive and practical understanding of the work conducted within the sector – the rewards as well as the challenges. The program is designed to be completed flexibly, at the learner’s own pace. Access to the Disability Induction Program will be made available via NDS Learning Management Systems, allowing individuals to keep track of their personal training records. There are five courses in the program which all together take on average four to five hours to complete: 1. It’s a great career if you enjoy working with people 2. You can make a difference 3.
